I always liked "If You Want My Love" as well …

After Nirvana hit, white, male rock bands weren't supposed to be danceable or conventionally sexy.

Middleman and Terriers deserve the Veronica Mars movie treatment

One of the most heartbreaking stories I ever read

Steranko's 2 volume history of GA comics is indispensable in my book

I was similarly distressed to see the "pap-pap" tag applied to Book Of Genesis.

Big fan of both Stephen King and Kubrick's take on The Shining, yet I never read the actual novel. Great stuff. They're truly two distinct works

Getting On is a gutsy show that gets nowhere near the amount of attention it deserves

That was the approach of some of his earliest Silver Age appearances. I always thought it would be a good way to introduce the character to a modern audience without making him a mind-wiping d-bag

I thought Bookie's true identity was hilarious… particularly when you consider Scott's been reading it since childhood. Oh well

Zed doesn't get the best lines but the actress is good at conveying depth through her facial expressions. Seemed to me the Angel was a big deal to her, but John and circumstances dampened her enthusiasm. Solid B episode for me…

I'll stick with my '70s childhood and Rush

I remember homeowners praying for Genevieve or Vern and looking sick if it turned out to be Hildi.

I was sad when the Batcave was carted away…

One of the greatest comic books ever produced

Agreed.

Jules from Cougar Town!

I still think Todd grossly misunderstood VM's character traits in the purgatory article he cited above. Not sure what to think about Community's characters in "purgatory" because I've always seen them less as distinct individuals and more as aspects of Harmon's psyche.

Given that Bynes has some real mental health issues, I would rather see her slip into a quiet and healthy retirement than see her hop back on the Hollywood Go-Round and end up a soulless automaton like Britney Spears, who probably suffers from severe bi-polar disorder.

Forgot about The Judge Child. Dredd was a great comic book way back when
