Sounds like you've got a good plan there.

Wrong.

Wrong.

Spike and Dru were a much better couple. Plus, not quite sure why Buffy fandom got over the whole attempted rape bit in "Seeing Red." (Not my favorite season overall ….)

I'll always argue that the first season is underrated. Loved the "invisible girl" and "cheerleader witch" stories at the time. Less complicated than later seasons, sure, but it's like Silver Age Spider-Man: fun and neurotic!

This Year's Girl And Who Are You are two of my favorites, but I don't know if I'd recommend them to new viewers. Watched Buffy as it originally aired and thought at the time that seasons 1-3 formed a great meta-story about the high school experience. Remaining seasons had a lot of gems, but never quite had the same

The appeal of Jake and Finn's friendship definitely cannot be denied. They're among the classic duos of pop culture, i.e. Batman & Robin, Laurel & Hardy, etc. etc…

This may have been mentioned already, but Miles Davis' two side-long epics on the Jack Johnson LP - "Right Off" and "Yesternow" - could well be the apex of jazz/rock fusion.

I'm a lot older than most who post here, but I'd wager that Adventure Time's popularity has more to do with the fact that it's extraordinarily well made and - in the tradition of classic Chuck Jones (or John Kricfalusi for a more contemporary example) - has a lot to offer for viewers of all ages. Why can't an adult

Another funny episode. Guess the reviewer doesn't like comedies that actually emphasize humor over serialization and deep emotions.

I finally saw “A Separation.” Nice to see a film that didn’t rely on CGI to make an impact.

People who talk about Dawes in every single AV Club thread that ever existed.
