Tumblr seems ready to ship just about anybody from what I've seen but the whole Ragner/Athelstan (Ragthelstan?) seems a little beyond the norm, maybe? Like I said it just surprises me how fast a fandom can spring up (I'm relatively new to Tumblr) around a new show.

Nope, I think he got cut for good unfortunately, so far in the books he hasn't been important to the plot just a cool character.

You're not the only one who thinks that, there is a surprising amount of Ragner/Athelstan fanfic out there for a show that has been on such a short time…that's what I've heard anyway.
