I was wondering about that too, you think she would have come back at least once to check on the Pope but she never did. Is that supposed to be significant or did they just forget to bring her back for the bedside reunion?

Spitting and bad table manners..never change Floki.

This was an awesome premiere, looks like it's off to a great start.
Della Rovere is a hard man to kill. Walks right into the lion's den and still comes out unscathed.
I don't believe Rufio is more badass than Micheletto, not for a second.
You know who I would like to see have a conversation with Micheletto even though he

Poor Theon, his butthole is going to be in constant danger.

I watch it! I wish more people would watch it too. But last season on the comment boards was fun so I hope everyone comes back and now I have another show on Sunday along with GOT, Mad Men, Vikings, and now Veep too, why are most of the good shows on Sunday?

Yeah, I thought that was awkward, poor Thyri can't catch a break.

He's getting good practice the way he was bullying poor Athelstan.
DRINK GODDAMMIT! WATCH THE SLAVE GIRL DIE OR I'LL TELL MY DAD!
At least Ragnar had the sense not to let him go raiding with them.

Loved the triple deaths of Earl Haraldson, Svein, and old Swedish dude.
Just when  Athelstan starts to accept Norse society the killing of the slave girl snaps him back to reality.
What the fuck were those leaves they tossed on the fire? If they were from Floki I wouldn't trust them.

I have mixed feelings about it, I thought she was going to say it was Robb who had been sick so it threw me for a loop when she said it was Jon. Michelle Fairly did a great job with it but yes, it seemed so out of step with book Cat and even what we have seen so far with show Cat. In the books her hatred of Jon is so

He looked like he came pretty close. Christ what a repulsive little shit.

It's Ramsey. I guess they cast him as "boy" because they wanted to keep his identity under wraps so the reveal will be more surprising? It would also drag out Theon's story for this season than if they had reveled it last season.

Yes, one of my favorite storylines from the book and interested to see how well Iwan Rheon play Ramsey (I always imagined him older and uglier) Guy has a crazy look about him so I'm hopeful.

That was awesome the way Margery was playing Joffrey but gross too cause Joffrey looked like he was getting a hard on *shudder*

Tumblr seems ready to ship just about anybody from what I've seen but the whole Ragner/Athelstan (Ragthelstan?) seems a little beyond the norm, maybe? Like I said it just surprises me how fast a fandom can spring up (I'm relatively new to Tumblr) around a new show.

Loved that part, love snarky Ragner.

At least he got so drunk Thery(sp?) didn't have to fuck him, if he does that every night she may be able to survive her marriage.

I also really liked all the scenes at Floki's house and the story swapping. No one wanted to talk about Ragnarok, is that considered bad luck in Norse society? It was interesting when Athelstan was asked how he thought the world was created he drew a blank, what he thought it wouldn't sound believable to them or is it

Nope, I think he got cut for good unfortunately, so far in the books he hasn't been important to the plot just a cool character.

I really hope Sam gets a chance to kill a White Walker later on and that part isn't totally expunged from the show, that would really suck.

You're not the only one who thinks that, there is a surprising amount of Ragner/Athelstan fanfic out there for a show that has been on such a short time…that's what I've heard anyway.
