Two more authors I love to reread: Lovecraft and Borges.

The Painted Bird is one fucked up book. In a lot ways, it's even more unsettling than American Psycho.

On a more serious note, the Prince of Nothing Trilogy. I reread them every time R. Scott Bakker writes another Earwea novel to re-familiarize myself with the series' universe and I'll damned if they don't get better each time. IMHO, he's the most underrated contemporary author these days.
