I don't really know if she can be called the "rightful ruler". Sure her family had control of the throne before they were ousted but they were themselves conquerors in ancient times. And you could argue that the Targaryens deserved to loose power considering the abhorrent ruling of The Mad King.
Sounds like someone is firmly in the grasp of big dojang (yes, I had to look up the correct term for Korean dojos).
I take it you're from Malmö? I'm in Uppsala and actually quite glad that the traditional spring balls coincide with Eurovision so that people instead are worked up and hissy over getting their dresses and tailcoats in order until then.
While I, as any sane person, have very divisive views on Eurovision I think it would be very enjoyable to read some A.V. Club coverage of it. I realise chances are slim since nobody in murrica watches it, but still.
Even though I have a soft spot for the "noisy neighbours" I'm glad Wigan won it. Well deserved and surely a memory to cherish for their fans.
Is your morning routine any different now than from when you were in France? If I woke up that early every morning in France I'd be eating the shit out of fresh pain au chocolat complemented by some nice coffe.
That does indeed sound excruciating on a whole other level. Good thing the roomie situation at least will sort itself out soon enough.
No Berserk?
What you should check out is Blame! done by the same author/artist. I've read some Knights of Sidonia and didn't really enjoy it too much. However, Blame! is much more unique in style and tone (sure, it's a mixture of dystopian sci-fi/Neuromancer-schtick but It really feels and looks like little else).
Do what Snoop would've done (I guess?) and scout the place beforehand?
Ugh, that sounds very Kafkaesque (a cliché, but it certainly feels justified when you continuously keep getting referred with no end in sight). Sucks since there's no way around it I guess?
I can heartily recommend the lectures Yale (special shout out to Donald Kagan and Paul Bloom) puts up on iTunes U. They are always excellently produced and the lecturers are picked for a reason.
I don't think I ever realized that's what ruches are for…
Are you allowed to listen to audio devices at the same time? If so: I'd do it.
HATE THREAD
I think I'm going to buy some green pants for this summer. I don't know how it is in the US but at least in some parts of Europe red pants are fairly stigmatized.
