So, for next season, let's hope the new showrunner and writing team manage to fix the action less on stupid side plots and tertiary characters (I'm looking at you Alcide, Terry and half the Merlotte's Crew) and focus a bit more on the inevitable shitstorm that's bound to happen between vampires and humans as a result

The authority scenes make me chuckle. They're supposed to be this elite, secret and uber Machiavellian organisation that's been steering events like a group of Chessmasters on steroids. So when we actually met them, the ineptitude of their Guardian this season is particularly galling.
