I figured the Union Sergeant was going to trade his coat with someone else. But if he did, then he wouldn't have the piece of paper that absolves him from all crimes sticking out the front pocket.
So…Bohannen chases the Union sergeant down before the sergeant get to the safety of U.S. marshals on the train. Bohannen kills said sergeant on the train tracks just as said train is pulling into Hell on Wheels station. Yet no one, including the engineer who is supposedly stopping the train, seems to notice a murder…
A friend of mine recently discovered Terriers through Netflix Instant. I think I broke his heart when I told him there was only the one season.
Judging from the "Arthur" remake, I don't think Americans really care for Russell Brand much. He's just kinda here, with enough support to do what he wants but not enough for him to be a success at anything.
From what I remember (and it's been a while) the movie stands alone fairly well from the rest of the series. The major characters are all introduced well, with only a few minor characters introduced for the movie. I would only hesitate because the movie shows the Bebop crew together and working as a pretty good team;…
If the Firm continues to flop, 10 pm EST could be prime Community time. Of course, then Community would be going up against Archer on FX, but that's why FX reruns its shows three times during the night.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who got upset seeing Sheldon break the spine of that comic book.
This happened to me, too. None of Showtime's shows seem worthwhile enough to cough up the extra money for, and the movie selection is probably worse than Starz.
I think it's just a fan theory. Evangelion was huge for GAINAX and is even referenced in this episode. It's probably just people noticing the similar designs for the MM robots and the Evas and trying to build something around that.
Not to spoil anything, but the last episode gives Haruko motivation to do what she does, instead of just being an anime manic-pixie-dream girl. There's also some explanation for how Canti works, sorta.
It's probably the same exoticism that allows Westerners to tattoo Japanese characters on their arms. Because it looks cool and shows how worldly you are.
So…any supporters of the fan-theory that Medical Mechanica is/was producing Eva units? While it doesn't really fit the show's tone, said theory ties in several of GAINAX's most popular themes, including the connection between machines/humanity and how force is sometimes a necessity to bring children into adulthood.
The first soundtrack CD only contains music from the first 3 episodes. The second soundtrack CD has music from the last 3 episodes ("Crazy Sunshine," "I Think I Can," "LAST DINOSAUR.") IMO, Vol 1 is better, even though it doesn't have all the best songs on it. That's what torrenting is for, I guess.
It was six years between Clerks: the Movie and Clerks: the Cartoon. Kevin Smith still had a pretty dedicated audience. ND: the Movie and ND: the Cartoon are airing 8 years apart. ND doesn't really have a dedicated audience that I'm aware of.
Perfect Hair Forever is due for a critical reevaluation.
Coincidentally, I just saw that pool episode a few weeks ago during the 90's Nick Rewind late night block. It's a lot less scary than I remembered it being; I was more impressed by how the show got away with two teenage leads that were obviously inches away from sex at any minute.
Well, at least HBO isn't selling their DVD sets for around $100 anymore…
I actually kind of liked "Penn and Teller Tell a Lie." I'm not sure why Discovery decided to only show around 5 episodes of it, though. Gotta make room for more Dirty Jobs reruns, I guess.
Shit, I know 11 of these, which is incredibly high for me for any sort of reality show. I guess reality shows collect their "celebrity" female contestants from other reality shows, but aside from those, I know what I'm talking about. Some of the contestants I actually like…
