Or Legends of the Hidden Temple!

"Vomit" was the song that made me get this album. I had never given Girls a chance before (probably judging them from their twee-ish name and album title), but that song really made me stand up and take notice. Hopefully "Vomit" is a good representation of the rest of the album.

Aw man, I was hoping they'd relaunch "Lookwell."

Oh shit, I remember Big Lake! Didn't they only air like 6 episodes or something? I think it was one of Comedy Central's "this wasn't an immediate hit on first airing, so we'll bury it" shows.

I guess I'm one of those lapsed readers DC is looking to win back. However, I don't care about the new continuity that is remarkably similar to the old continuity or an even gorier Joker. I care about good stories. So it looks like it'll be Action, Animal Man, and Swamp Thing for me, if I actually can find a nearby

But are there really that many of those shows left on the air? According to Jim, King of Queens, etc. are all off the air, I think. There really aren't a whole lot of successful domestic sitcoms left, aside from Modern Family and The Middle, neither of which really fit that criteria.

But she's wearing a dress! With tennis shoes! She's a woman!

Robot Chicken was terrible in the first season. I'd actually say RC got better as it went along, but it's still stuck in the "What if He-Man was gay/threw up a lot/shit his pants" style of humor.

It was used in Radiohead's video for "Jigsaw Falling Into Place." But in that instance, the camera was obviously mounted on each band member's helmet. I imagine it's the same principle for this video, but attached around the waist or something.

I thought I was the only person who remembered that show! They had these huge bulky rigs attached to the front of each contestant. That show is where I first saw the "first person walking" technique used.

In my experience, it's the opposite. My local Borders always seemed disorganized and messy, while the Barnes and Noble was clean and well-lighted. I couldn't comment about the staff being "book-lovers," though. I always had a hard time finding anyone that wasn't behind the counter in either store.

They showed the best part of post-grunge / pre-rap metal alternative music scene! Type O Negative will live on forever!

There was a preview clip of Beavis and Butthead commenting on Jersey Shore that floated around the internet last month. It was…interesting. The video commentaries on old B+B were great because of all the digressions and stupid jokes. The new B+B seemed like just a standard "riff at the dumb guidos" show.

Either there's an unwritten dress code for all Southwest Airlines' flights, or there's some stewardesses that have a lot of time on their hands.

Well played, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. Well played.

Am I the only person who liked "Pieces of the People We Love" more than "Echoes?" In the Rapture's case, I think overproduction fits them quite well.

So…there's a lot of new shows with female leads. I guess that's *some* sign of progress, right?

MENDOOOOZAAAA!!!

I heard that Brandanawicz was based on a real person who kept flipping back and forth between the private and public sectors. He may come back (and leave) Pawnee again.

Yeah, I think the Frank Grimes episode was also mentioned in that commentary, as far as episodes that subverted fans' expectations of the show.
