…I am not enthused by reshuffling the Marvel U to fit the Marvel Movie U.

Are they getting rid of main universe Peter?

Whoa… there's a zombie Archie title now?! And it's good?!

Thanks! Clicking over now!

I think in some instances, like mine, you read this stuff as a teenager and just remember the shooting and pictures, but assuming it's pictures of a bleeding woman. Then you go online, read what was intended, and think "well, that's something that's way less enjoyable."

Has Moore ever really taken a critical look at his stuff and said "yeah, some of this is troubling?" I mean, as we both get older I like him less and less. Just because you can point out how xenophobic and sexist some of Miller's stuff is doesn't mean your own stuff isn't creepy and sexist itself.

Right here, although I can see why others don't like it. Me? Kinda don't care for Jim Lee.

What is the surf but the never-ending pointless endeavor to seek death without obliquely seeking it? Movies and comics are dead. Music and video games are rotting corpses, Nothing is everything is nothing.

Since about 2006. I've heard Powers has restarted at least twice since the Image days, and is now over at Epic. I stopped reading when Peter Parker was still Ultimate Spidey and managed to finish Y, but the rest I'll look into, thanks!

Jeez, it's this stuff that's intimidating and gives me numerous migraines. I guess it's also why I tend to stick to runs, and as soon as the run is finished I'm onto the next one like Jay-Z.

Damn, I cannot think of a total turnaround than Image, then. Imagine if a fellow geek was in a coma from 1995 to day, they wouldn't believe it.

You seem chill.

Well this just shows how out of it I am. I'm assuming they're headed to Image?

It makes sense to have some dark titles, but to seemingly do it across the board just kind of numbs the experience.

Really? I've heard the opposite. Again, I've only tangentially been keeping up with news, but I heard while Marvel was having Fraction, Hickman, Bendis, etc DC was picking up all of the 1990s knockoffs and just instigating an entire "grim and gritty" aesthetic.

I guess if you're into darkness always being the better choice, I can see how people joking around might not be for you.

Isn't DC all darkness, all the time? I listened to a lot of metal and complained about jocks and preps twenty years ago, doesn't mean I want to relive it now.

Eh, Shelby Fero and Aparna Nancherla are reason enough to stick around, I figure.

Added to the look pile, but that can't be the ONLY good book out there.

Twitter at least is handy with breaking news. Now deactivating Facebook, THAT's your money move.
