I wonder if McGillicuddy has a thumbs down avatar for movies he dislikes.

Oh yes.
"Shove this up your mind."

Classy.

Hold me closer, Tony Danza.

"Black" is certainly PJ's greatest song. "Dissident" for me is a close second.

I think it must be more than a little frustrating to be a black actor. You act for a living, and even if you have talent, you lose roles to some rapper. Especially if you lose a role to some punk-ass like Ja Rule. I mean, Steven Seagal positively carried him in Half Past Dead.

Hold on a second…
I could swear I've seen this movie before. Black athlete overcomes racial bias and inspires his team to come together. Give me a minute, it'll come to me.

…I don't see Jason Statham here anywhere. What gives?

Disappointment?
I was excited to see the movie when I saw the trailer. After this review, not so much. Now I'm hoping that my lowered expectations will be surpassed, allowing me to enjoy the film as much as I thought I would in the beginning. Sort of a "disappointment boost," if you will.
