You guys, it's the conclusion to the milk/bullies story that Philip was starting to tell Elizabeth in the season 2 finale. They were waiting in the car for John Carroll Lynch's character to complete his mission and got interrupted because he ended up getting shot. I've been waiting to hear the rest of that story since

Yes, please. Spill the instances.

I liked this episode enough for an A. It was just so fun! And you know, it brought back my slight (slight!) guilt about having not voted for Hillary on Tue.- not that my vote hurt her anyway- because if the 2 hottest Jewesses in NYC are for Hill than what's my problem?

Thanks! Eh, I don't try to keep up with all the discussions, esp. since Disqus sucks so bad it makes that pretty hard, just when there's an episode of something that's really great I want to read and talk about so I try to get in on the convo where I can but don't stress about it. Everyone has a participation level

Whoa, what the shit?!

If it doesn't make sense you should find for the defense.

I know! The AV Club discussions really are like a port in the storm (if that's the right metaphor, lol). People actually want to discuss art on its own merits and not just use any excuse to spew their political grudges, imagine that! Sometimes a troll or two comes along to be annoying but they tend to fade away and it

Also disagree about Paige but glad you mentioned your quibble about Stan being a sad sack. He's been living with very difficult situations for a while now but he's actively trying to overcome them.

Exactly.

Yes, this. I have all 3 biggies- and had Prime from before anyway for shipping- and I'm always finding something to watch on Amazon.

That.Tire.Fire.Scene. Had to actually give myself a 15 min. break to brace myself for what I saw coming.

Yay!

Re: Your favorite 2015 shows- Same. Although I'd add Penny Dreadful to the list because it was just so enjoyable to watch that I couldn't wait for the next episode. Btw, that's just drama types, not even getting into Broad City, Review, Another Period, etc.

Omg, that garden story was gut-wrenching: I just wanted to shake her absent father and tell him, "Your daughter needs you! Pay attention and look at what trouble is coming for her because she wants her dad!" Ugh, that poor little girl.

I've noticed this! Even among people that watch it and comment on their Facebook, there seems to be a contingent that actually gets mad that these "dirty commies" aren't getting their comeuppance! Like, they don't know how much longer they can keep watching the shoe if the Russians aren't taken down. FFS!

I mean, she's fifteen. Not only is she not equipped to just "move on" from it, if the circumstances continue to get worse or she doesn't have help, this could easily fuck her up for life. That's how impressionable her personality is at her age; it's still developing.

Paige is so real though. Having been a teenage girl, even in the most different circumstances imaginable, her actions hit home for me. And, no longer being a teenager, I can sympathize with the way she acts on how she feels. She's growing up, but she's still very much a kid and everything he parents do affects her

Well, I'm glad to see that this review confirms for me that, for as long as it runs, The Americans will be my most anticipated show. Seriously, can not wait to dive into this season. Every week for 13 weeks! Philip, Elizabeth, Paige, Henry, Stan, Martha, Nina, Gabriel, Oleg, Arkady, Gaad, Sandra! Also, Claudia,

I also love to see how everyone on the show that's halfway normal openly hates them as well, and how they're so oblivious to how awful they are!

Oh my god, I was yelling at Marnie not to be nice to that worthless, worthless Desi when he was crying like a child- although she is equally terrible so she really deserves him- and then he got his shirt stuck on his head and started crying about that, and I just started laughing and laughing while saying, "You piece
