A) Never said it was an anxiety attack. I went into some bit of detail what it was. B) Yes, I am qualified.

I'm not saying you're not actually feeling the effects, just that they are in your head. I should have put in there that I'm not for second-hand smoke, either, just answering your question as you posed it. And your symptoms bear the analysis out. It's the same reaction I get around seafood. I'm allergic to seafood

Please note before I post this that I am not in favor of smoking, do think it is a public health crisis, and am not in any way making fun of you.

I hope Todd VanDerWerff takes at least a little of the break time finding out what recovering addicts do: they take comfort in things that used to make them (okay, us) happy for however fleeting a moment.

That's why I think that the gender reversal was intentional. (Well, that, and I'm a huge fan of Nick Bakay's writing, and he's very big on twisting the female role to be less about the man.)

Now we know, as of today, that Hurt is in fact the ninth incarnation, and I'm not sure of any other way that Moffatt could walk that back (one

By the time The Goo Goo Dolls got to the fourth album, they'd run out of songs stolen from other Buffalo musicians. But I'm not bitter or anything.

Caught Up
Realized as I came to this post that I have been reading you and the other you (what kind of a drag name is Noel Murray?) for 5 days straight. Both of you have gotten me to listen to lots of stuff I normally wouldn't, and that's the whole point of these things, right?

Wow
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this.

Unwind
And yet… And yet… There's a song he did in 1964 or 5 called Unwind that showed my young songwriter self amazing things about a short pop song using tempo and space to reinforce lyrical mood. That song has shown up in every song I ever wrote.

Everything is Beautiful
… be they yellow, black, or white… but by God not Brown like A-Rab or Mehicans… they be scarier than nekkid people!
