She's the weak link, but I can ignore her, for the most part. I think the show if plenty of fun and am nowhere near throwing in the towel.

Living on HBO time…
I know that we're all used to the show that gives up way too much too early, because major network shows have to hook us early or the shows are cancelled. Me? I like True Blood and I like that they're not blowing thier load by episode three.

Treasurer
My thought on being Treasurer of the "We Hate Cordelia Club" being so funny has to be that it shows unusual maturity at an age when kids form "We Hate Whoever" clubs. It's the same reason I will teach my kids the word "quorum" and then laugh my ass off whenever they use it in context.

Clip heavy
Do I actually have to rent the movie? It seems to me you have enough clips here to add up to 97 minutes. Or at least it felt like 97 minutes.

Dave's unfeeling, robotic ways

I eagerly await The Puppet Show in next week's edition. It's one of my top first season episodes, for the subversity of it all.

Any of you wanting to follow along but who can't afford the DVDs might check out Hulu.com. They have the full first two seasons available online. It makes pretending to work much easier.

Grandma's Boy was the only reason I even thought about seeing Strange Wilderness. I'm glad I didn't see it, but I'll defend Grandma's Boy any day. Not a bad movie. Not a life-changing movie. But I'll gladly watch it again — and maybe Diggstown after that.

It does get old after a while…
