Yeah, Willie Hutch
Thanks for at least having Hutch as part of your collection. His soundtrack to The Mack is ho-slappin' strong.

MST3K question
How many spy films did they watch? The two that come to mind for me are Secret Agent (trumpet riff) Super Dragon and the one with Sean Connery's brother.
Mmmm…
Emma Peel. (sigh)
Plus he got to hang with Jill St. John, Sue Lyon, Raquel Welch and a very young Lainie Kazan. Way to go, Chairman.
Ken Russell Primer, please.
The start of the first X-Men film ruined Unbreakable for me. They have the same introduction of the bad guy as a kid scene. Then I had to listen to Bruce Willis whisper for two hours.
I thought it was Ron Silver.
I still think if The Happening was shot like a Grindhouse feature it would have been much, much better. Instead we got a b-movie plot and acting that thought it was a summer blockbuster = oops.
Not a film per se…
My argument is with people declaring a film the best/worst ever immediately upon seeing it. I had a co-worker declare The Departed "the worst film ever." Months later she said the same thing about "Grindhouse." (no longer a co-worker, thank God) My rule is give the film five years and if it sill…
I've seen a lot of Holocaust films…
This reminded me of a German version of Boorman's Hope & Glory. The last ten minutes are still devastating.
I'm with you, YM, on Slasher, but the rest of his post-Coming To America work, yeesh.
Donny
Shut the fuck up!
It would have only been better…
If Barack turned around and said "Al, Jesse, get the fuck off my stage. I got your balls now!" The only reason why Jesse was crying was because it wasn't him up there.
Yeah, that Bela Lugosi movie owns!
Right on, mmy, for two direct pieces. 25th Hour is also really good.
And that's the bottom line…
Oops.
While dating the future Mrs. Garvin, Lipstick was on cable one night. I told her that I heard it was fun-bad, let's watch it. Plus Anne Bancroft (one of our faves) was in it. It wasn't fun-bad. It was bad-bad.
I miss Perry Henzell.
Swimming costumes? Candid, CANDID photography?
