I had actually forgotten that we had a choice about it. I started doing NewsRadio during the era when grades were mandatory, and then kept on doing them when they became optional because it seemed strange to drop them. I think I'll keep on doing them here unless it becomes really difficult or problematic. Or unless

I believe the argument is over whether the lighting on the set is actually a different color (because wrong/different gels are being used to cover the openings of the stage lighting) or whether the lighting on the set is fine but the monitors are miscalibrated and not representing it correctly.

I jotted that down in my notes for "The Apology." I've seen them twice weekly for the last four summers in the NewsRadio credits, so it won't take me long to get reacclimated, but it was a bit of a shock to see them so prominently featured.

Studio 60 is the only real misfire in your list. I really wanted to like it, but it took itself way too seriously. I don't attribute the overwrought elements in A Few Good Men to Sorkin, but to Reiner's direction (fairly or unfairly). In everything else, Sorkin shows a real ability to undercut his earnestness with

My love for Celebrity Poker Showdown is vast and unquenchable. Phil Gordon era preferred, of course, and Scott Stapp thinking he won because the board had a pair on it FTW.

Wikipedia says that it stayed on Tuesdays at 9:30 Eastern for its entire run. In Season 1 that was after Spin City and before NYPD Blue, and in Season 2 it was after Dharma and Greg and before Once and Again (otherwise known as "that show I never watched but always confuse with my beloved Now and Again").

These first two were tough grades to give. Compared to the rest of the show, the pilot is not that strong. But compared to other pilots and to the TV landscape when it aired, it was really a stunner. I kind of split the difference.
