Alright, Milkman, you're our guy. (Or at the very least, you have a friend of a friend who is our guy.) Get Bonerz over here immediately!

4) The Pasta House, which keeps switching buildings with El Mexicano and has the same ownership.

No, I'm Bowman everywhere.

If it's folding clothes you picture, that would be me. If it's having headphones on one ear listening to Popless tracks while taking notes, that would be Noel.

That's good to know. I've lost touch with all those guys, though about once a year I google them to see if I can catch any glimpses of what they're up to. I know Trey Ledford, master of the rhythm guitar, was playing in a New Orleans outfit a couple of years ago … anybody have any more recent updates?

We just missed out on IN PLAIN SIGHT — we didn't get our TV Club summer schedule together until after it aired.

That is a paddleboat, sir.

Wrong on canoes
Noel points out that there was a single canoe. By that time, I confess, I had given up.

I meant WNYX. Gee, it's a good thing this has fallen off the front page and nobody's going to come looking for it.

Folks, I've been on vacation this week — I actually posted this entry from my hotel room — so I apologize for not participating in the conversation. The Canaller's excellent-as-usual analysis of how much characters are allowed to grow in American sitcoms really intrigued me. I imagine I'll be revisiting that idea

Please add his book to "everything I've read about Jobs and his purchase of Pixar," since it's now part of "everything one should read about Jobs and his purchase of Pixar in order

I have a soft spot for the Lovitz season, but I haven't watched them since they were broadcast. I appreciated at the time that they tried to bring a different kind of character into the role, and since I respect Lovitz quite a bit, I tried to go with it … and I don't remember being excessively let down.

Noel watched several of the Season 1 and 2 commentaries when he reviewed the set, and I listened along, but I really don't remember any information from them … and I don't plan to watch commentaries as I go through the series for the blog. So those of you familiar with their content, please feel free to add pertinent

Big points for noticing. Tune back in next week for TV Club Classic: Newsradio!

We'll be doing Season Two this summer — a couple of episodes per week.

Starting next Tuesday! Then immediately on hiatus the next week while I'm out of town. Just like network scheduling!

Fortunately, Richard's burrito question always makes me think of my favorite TC guest judge quote of all time: "It's a fucking burrito. You put your shit in it and you wrap it up."

Everything gives you cancer. Not everyone's got cancer.
