In the 70s, insead of updating to 5.1 Dolby Surround. they went for a rival sound system that worked out great.  I presume that it's been upgraded since the restoration in the 90s.

I saw it there about 10 years ago and it was quite dazzling.  The exaggerated width of the screen created some unusual blocking.
