After next season, I believe it will just be Guatemala.

Sure, if we're accepting as gospel that he had to ever vote out Penner. Penner had an immunity idol and was loyal to him. Best still would have been to flip a couple of Tandangs, ride Penner to F6, and blindside him *then*.

Ha! I didn't even get the tribe name. I'd been pronouncing it Dan Grayne, P.I. The merged tribe usually picks its own name, though, not the producers.

I'm off Team Malcolm and Denise for a)., going along with the dumbest plan in Survivor history (choosing to be at the bottom of a messy 9 instead of right in the thick of a tight 6), and b)., Denise's vote for "John" (sic).

(cabspaintedyellow already covered this, but) I have it on good authority that, on occasion, Jonathan gets frustrated by Probst.

I see where he's coming from - returning players have completely dominated every season where there's been a returnee/non-returnee mix (especially for those, like me, on Team "Sophie was Coach's goat and it backfired on him because he's Coach" and not on Team "Sophie's random obnoxious confessional every three weeks

I was surprised that the reviewer would quote such a terrible line from a book he seems to be, overall, recommending. Then I looked to see who the reviewer was, and was surprised again. Who knew Phil Dyess-Nugent (or "Sims", as he likes to be called) could read?

You know what I've always wondered about? The strategic implications of physical reward challenges. Which is to say, if I were on a Survivor jury, I'd vote for the guy who *didn't* randomly tackle me in order to win a sandwich. I understand if it's for immunity, but if it's for some bullshit reward? I don't know why

Yeah, the reason that's the worst move ever is because it's *a whole bunch of people* making the stupidest possible move. The other contenders for worst move ever - HVV Tyson, Colby taking Tina, Erik giving away his idol, Ozzy throwing the challenge to get rid of Billy - are all just one person being stupid. This was

I think it was a weird and unnecessary move - ineffective for both sides, actually - but not a remarkably bad one at all.
