"The film [Monster Squad] holds up really well, too" - I'm going to disagree with you on this. The kids call each other "f*ggot" a tremendous number of times, and there's a character who is referred to as "fat kid" for the first hour of the movie. It's fun as shit, but it's clearly a product of its day.

Also his pants + shirt in Killer Joe.

Opening scene of Die Hard 6 - A 65 year old John McClane wakes up, hungover and unshaven in his shitty one bedroom apartment. He pours himself a cup of coffee from yesterday's pot. A decades-old photo of Holly hangs in the hallway. John moves an empty pizza box off of his coffee table and places it on top of another

He's had corrective surgery on his teeth. Dude's looking good (well, better…) these days.

God dammit, I should have picked Old Main Drag.

Top 3:

That movie is fucking terrible. "Hey look, I can tell how close these guys are because they all keep saying 'Give it a name.' which is something that gangsters say, apparently." The whole movie uses shorthand like this.

I was also thrilled to hear Atmosphere live. The band understands and cares about its fans.

Point Break is a brilliant fucking movie, if only for the way it subverts the male gaze.

Stone Brewing hasn't introduced a new good beer since vertical epic '08. I say this as a proud San Diegan.

I loved loved loved House of the Devil, but found The Innkeepers to be boring as all hell. It wasn't a slow burn, it was two characters I didn't care about playing pretend in a spooky house. Not scary.

Your third point is a ludicrous straw man. The question is not "Why doesn't Tyler Perry make movies *for white people*?" the question is "Why doesn't he make movies that don't beat you over the head with misogynist and heteronormative life lessons?" Your straw man presupposes that working class black families wouldn't

Question - how necessary do the offended parties feel it is to clean up language like this when it's so clearly satirical?

xZibit also consistently out-acted the oscar winner with whom he shared all his scenes.

The last time I suggested that they were having sex, I was angrily corrected by the commenters here (it's apparently just a handy while she moves her hips into his).

That reveal is the greatest fucking thing I have ever seen and immediately precedes the second greatest fucking thing I have ever seen (Nic Cage + gun & oxygen tube).
