The Bridge was actually pretty moving and worth a viewing. Emotionally, though…eesh. These are some very tragic stories. But until you watch the special feature making of, you're kind of left thinking the film crew just stood around watching people leap to their deaths. I guess they did have a system set up where they…
That Death Wish trailer leaves out Jeff Goldblum's standout performance.
Not really a great line, but another great moment is a few minutes before that, when the Tite Brothers are introduced by J.D. Salinger.
You don't have to start a new game. I figured it out. Just reload an old game, then sign into Live to the Broken Steel content is active, *then* save a game.
If only they'd put this on Steam…
Has anyone else downloaded this for PC and still not got it to work? I downloaded it yesterday, and can't figure out how to get it to "start." I've played through the end, and I just get end game credits.
Not sure I remember the line correctly
Hey man, I've been working on this book report all year, and I just have to ask you something….if I was babysitting you, would you bust my chops?
I also loved Dollhouse when I saw it in high school, as it was one of the few films I felt accurately captured the more bitter feelings of being a teenager. But by Happiness, it seems clear the dude just has a very, very black vision of what the world is (which I think also makes his movies very funny). He makes Woody…
Saw it last night. That motorcycle scene gave off a certain, unpleasant "pod racer" vibe.
I always saw it as a sci-fi drama with really great action sequences. Like, drama first, action second (though the action sequences will still give you a pretty visceral fucking response). I'm not sure how many people actually think of it as an action movie, but that's probably because it blends so many genres.
I'm probably ascribing too much power to the commenters for thinking this, but I kind of wonder if the fact that people have been bringing the funny at Lady Disdain's expense resulted in the recent new ads for the personals site. That little advertisement for it appears to have been updated.
I meant Tobias. Tobias should do a tour. Nabin can go with him.
As someone considering getting an MLS…
I hope to one day be as cool as the librarians in Kansas City.
Wait…what did Morris ever do that warrants even remotely testing his lifetime pass?
I kind of thought Fingers was a bit overrated, too. I think it was a great Keitel performance, but I kind of thought that was the best thing about it (and it's a pretty cool character, too—he just walks around listening to classic pop songs on a boombox and fucking shit up).
Skeezy afro kid is one of my favorite recurring cameo characters on that show, coming in at a close second to Harris.
I'm embarrassed to admit I just finished the series a c0uple weeks ago, and found it worth all the hype. Man, I'm not sure why it's not clicking for everybody else in this thread. I saw way too much of my high school experience in this show.
Not that you need consoling, but I also got confused for a moment, and I *have* seen Clifford. It's pretty easy to forget that movie.
The AV Club: I come for the articles. I stay for the vast wisdom of the comments section. I wouldn't have been able to name any of these without resorting to IMDB.
Scent of a Woman
That's the only other movie I can remember Chris O'Donnel being in. So that's what happened to that guy.
