Liked it, like seeing UCB folks on TV.
Having a busy pilot is not so bad—it means they’re eager to present a full world.
Also, “There's a new baby in my house, and I don't like how it smells.”

There are over twice as many single mothers (10 mill+) as stay-at-home moms in the US.

Shades of PFT's Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber!

And ladies' brains "stop working" on their period, and gays dream of wearing ruby slippers….

I thought this was a serious post, but:

Just explaining a possible reason why this person and I had similar reactions. It's not a defense or an attack.

I had the same reaction about the "bro-ish" tone of the show. They crack each other up— they are all Kulaps— and they're quick to call people losers. It's not the most appealing part of the show (that and an overreliance on cursing to be funny, which is a problem I'd probably have on a podcast, too).

There's this shadow in America…

He has such issues with women (and race), I have to feel bad for the ladies in his life.

& Stephnie Weir. I wanted her to be on TV all the time every day. & Mo Collins. She is solid as Iraq.

Klausner can make any topic interesting (excepting Real Housewives) but I bet "straight dudes" won't last long enough to realize it.

I've tried We Hate Movies a bunch, but it seems like alpha dudes making fun of movie characters because they think they are Too Weird or Losers. It's not that they're not sometimes funny, it's the atmosphere that puts me off.
Am I way off base?

Kashian is my comfort podcaster. She is a bowl of hearty soup. But funnier.

Julie Klausner's one of my favorite monologist/ramblers — she makes me laugh as much as PFT.

And weed, and feminism, and anecdotes about old movie stars…

Stupid hoes need the most attention.

Extras has its advantages: Stephen Merchant onscreen, and the friendship between Andy and Maggie was more rare on TV than an office romance. I find the Extras Special touching.

I second StarTalk with Tyson. Bonus: Eugene Mirman cohosts.

Professor Blastoff has totally grown on me, but it's a comedy podcast, not a science one. I almost gave up on it because I thought David Huntsberger was a bimbo, but he holds the show together, and their chemistry won me over. Chemistry!

Except Grace Under Fire attempted something decent.

Absolutely! Extras has the amazing, rare platonic male/female relationship, Smerch in the spotlight, and the finale makes me cry. It has so much to say about fame, but more to say about friendship.
