Agree that there are too many characters. Get rid of French Stewart, and give Matt Jones twice as many lines.

Yeah, she's so great. Not sure she's ever looked cuter than she has in the last couple of episodes, either.
Matt Jones is the best thing about this show. Although Allison Janey is superb, too, albeit too good for the material.
She was also Sheldon Cooper's twin sister in The Big Bang Theory.
That's a really good question/observation!
Yeah, I agree, an idiotic comment from the reviewer. I think he genuinely (and not so secretly) hates this show.
Agree. The plot of this episode reminded me of this Disney TV movie from the early eighties, "Midnight Madness," which is today perhaps most notable for being the debut of Michael j. Fox.
A "C" for this episode? You really don't like this show, do you? (Agree though that the payoff/punchline was terrible.)
Agreed. Hot in Cleveland is an example of a show that is way, way better than it has any right to be.
Paul Blart: Zoo Cop. Or, Fat Man Who Talks to Animals.
You forgot "Dads"
Yeah, she was really good in "Traffic Light," which was a lot better than some of the shows we've seen in recent weeks.
Good point (sadly).
"The Slump" was an unfortunate (and possibly prescient) title, for this episode took a big tumble in the ratings. That's bad news, because this show rocks!
"Actual Human People." Great name for a sitcom that can maybe run on FX or some other cable channel next year.
I haven't watched the episode (am not a big fan of MF), but just wanted to say this was a terrific review - really well written, sharp, snide, smart-as-hell, fun to read, and the reviewer's irritation (anger, actually) really comes across. Congrats!
Well said, sir!
Funny!
That's a brilliant quote. I think I agree with her critique. That whole scene with the guns in the trunk of the car kind of irked me. Way too neat. What if Walt's car had been confiscated at the gate or something? This to me is the difference between good BB and great BB. Sunday's episode was good, for sure, but in BB…
Alan Sepinwall is right - the finale was just way too neat for its own good. I've been thinking about it a lot today and the more I think about it, the less satisfying the episode feels. Don't get me wrong, I worship at the altar of BB (best show, ever, imo), but last night was somewhat disappointing.
