Samberg - classic.
Of course that was Taco with Andres sister. Brody's SHIT was hilarious. JJ Watt's face when Trixie finds the draft board (if you missed it, go back…its hilarious.) But by far my favorite part of the night was the trade back and forth at the rehearsal dinner. amazing. followed up by another great Brody line.
I'm also a guy that doesn't think kids getting shot to death is funny material for a sitcom. Maybe that's just me, though.
You're insinuating that anyone who found tonights episode funny thinks it funny when kids get shot to death in real life? Like we laughed at Connecticut or Columbine or something? Seriously man,…
Somebody like you should not be watching Sunny, bro.
That was one time, and it was against my will so it doesnt even count.
of course they were connected…i didnt even see what it said on the guys door but i figured it was the insurance company that was on the envelope richard pulled out of the guys coat. I dont think were supposed to know anything about that yet….but it was still awesome. Boardwalk seriously has become a unique TV…
No chance in hell Hank is dead. If he died, it'd be a tragic, end-of-the-episode type death instead of the beginning of another one.
And guys…jesus relax. Its not like every episode is 22 minutes of mythology. Usually its like 17-18 minutes of hilarity, and Wilfred pulling ridiculous shit, and Ryan running around acting like Ryan…and all the other characters being themselves. Then the end of the episode usually focuses on that. I for one…
how the hell did you not see what he found in the ruined house? it was a statue of Wilfred. Pretty clear.
hahahaha i literally yelled out to my roommate when the episode finished, "I dont know when Wilfred became Lost but okkkk." Not that thats a bad thing…Lost is my fave show ever particularly for the mysticism and mystery and reveals and chilling music….and Wilfred is beyond awesome now. Cause the comedy is also still…
FAIL on both stay observations about the symbol and the rape joke. The symbol is a great new rabbits hole that furthers the mystery and only shows that the writers actually have an idea of where theyre going with this whole drawing thing. Also the rape joke- hilarious. Would you ever rape?….someone?
Eh…i suppose that could explain Kristen's drawing, but that's not an exciting or dramatic reason at all. It would be a boring reveal I think…I expect it to be something else…a little more mindfucky.
ending totally worked. total mindfuck. not sure what to think now. but im just so impressed at how well theyve dramatized this show with the mythology hanging over every episode and almost every scene honestly…even the funniest of them all.
the fuck is wrong with you
first 'A' grade for the killing in the entire series from the AV club. Well deserved. Im glad i gave the show another shot this season….what a resurrection. Saarsgaard is amazing….i also love how after he beats the priest against the cell bars its never spoken about again even when hes admitting all the shit hes done…
also a purpose of the kids weird subplot….at the end of the episode when Phillip and Elizabeth finally arrive home, the parents and kids simultaneously lie to each other about what happened that day. it's kind of a fascinating, subtle moment….
Not so pretty now!!!!
Just wanna say something quick…i love AV club but how they continually give such a horrible criticism of the Simpsons currently boggles my mind. Im only 26 and Ive loved this show my entire life, and while its definitely nothing like what it used to be 10-15 years ago, it's still producing fresh episodes with clever…
"Oh yeah, holy shit"
Just wonderful stuff. I only got to watch it today which is actually pretty great cause i get a whole new episode tomorrow. This episode didn't quite feel like the walking dead, and thats a good thing. I love the show as much as anyone, but i agree that because of its premise its hard to develop characters and…
