Hmm
Seems like the Ben Stiller version of Punch Drunk Love.

Seems like the Ben Stiller version of Punch Drunk Love.
Seriously?
I'm surprised by them supposedly balking at $35 million. That seems like chump change in the world of major motion pictures these days.
Run Off: I must have only mentioned the film to the few who loved the film then. I've yet to hear anyone say anything worse than "Oh, I never saw that movie" when I bring it up.
Children of Men
Was tempted to write "I love children of men", hur hur…
I found The Host more enjoyable than Memories, but they're both great films.
I heard that DICE decided to not allow the prone position because it'd encourage camping and would basically allow snipers to have too great an upper hand (camo suits + prone). The upside is that it also makes it easier for snipers to shoot people as well.
I never played the first BC, but I enjoyed the supply drops as well. It was an interesting move to let the player choose what weapons they wanted to use for a given scenario.
Jeez
Didn't know Community was considered such a good show. I tried watching it when it fist started airing and found it pretty dull…guess I'll have to give it another shot.
Apparently I didn't know whether to type in "the best experience" or "most enjoyable", heh.
Perhaps
The best enjoyable single player campaign in an FPS since Call of Duty 4 for me. It's weird that everyone seems to say your teammates don't do shit to help you out since I seemed to have the opposite experience. Or, at the very least, it just felt like I didn't kill as many people as I did in other FPSes…
ricin beans: I don't like rice with my beans, so your comment doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned.
Ghaleon: I've heard different opinions. Were we talking about a game like Indigo Prophecy I'd totally agree with you - all the QTEs were basically extended games of Simon Says. But the consensus that I've been seeing (at least all the positive reviews) are that the QTEs in Heavy Rain actually add to the experience…
I didn't really want to jump into the debate, but I've had two thoughts throughout:
A Man: I see your point, but I think it may be best to divorce the game from the PR hyperbole that surrounds it. At least, that's what I'm trying to do with it.
Funny to see all the hate this game is getting
because, fuck it, it still looks awesome and engrossing. I find it especially funny that some people seem to think that any game that tries to do something different, deals with genuinely mature subject matter or strays from the conventions of what a game "should be"…
Deal with it!
In Cinemaphonic Quadro-Vision!
The Motorola ad
was really the only one that I chuckled at. I don't quite understand what message they were trying to convey (or if they were necessarily trying to convey one at all) with the gay guy being caught looking at her picture (even gay guys can be seduced by megan fox?) but it was him slapping the other dude…
Despite LtROI being a movie that I love, I had to think hard to remember that cat scene. And even then, I don't remember being entirely upset with the FX work.
Bummer to hear
but has that label even been relevant in the past few years? I think the last release i got from them was back in '05.
Did you guys catch the name of his new movie?
It's YOUTH IN REVOLT.
