Phantom of the Rock Opera!
Phantom of the Rock Opera!
@ Whiskers
Ha! You totally used the term mockumentary!
Never seen him do ANYTHING w/o chewing gum.
Important note to people of the universe…
And finally allowed to play a different character, for the first time since Police Academy.
Me n' the missus always think of him as Dr Skoda. I love that they always seemed to take him out to lunch to get his findings. "You wanna know what i think of this guy's insanity defense? You're gonna have to buy me a steak."
Alumnus.
You shouldn't do Sheen. Stay off the Sheen.
Sometimes you want a nice tossed salad, but you just don't feel like preparin' one.
I'd like it if there were someone in my neighborhood selling a car-trunk-ful of tossed salad. It would be a nice tribute to Exit 57. (Or was that The State?)
@ Pig: HUH?!? Where'd that come from?
Guess i'll bring a handbasket.
@mcc
One word: Opeth.
A question, a suggestion
First a question:
What is it that distinguishes entries in the "[facepalm]" category from those in the "Ugh" and "???" categories?
Ah, Nicolette Larson. Lotta great bgv's for Neil Young, too (who wrote "Lotta Love").
Yeah, Karn was one of the few bassists i've ever heard with a truly unique sound. It's what first hooked me on Japan.
Glad to see the love for Dali's Car. Though i associate him with Japan, it's his central riff from "Dali's Car" that's stuck in my head.
Damn, damn, damn.
Also his bit about recruiting a suicide bomber. "So, it's half now and half after? Okay."
Hey, you shut your mouth! "Memphis Beat" is actually pretty-okay, so there! Shows what you know…
I hope it comes back. I'm pretty sure the wife and i saw all the S1 episodes, and i can't think of any that we didn't enjoy.
Plus, it's not nearly as condescending to the South as every-other-depiction-of-the-South-ever.
Heard on a radio show here in Nashville on Tuesday:
"The wife and i are from Wisconsin, both lifelong football fans. She has 2 bottles of wine waiting on top of the 'fridge: one for when Favre retires for real, the other for when he dies."
Mrs Ed and i watched a couple episodes of the Murray-bros-play-a-round-o-golf show. //Shrug.//
IIRC, the youngest one was on Dharma & Greg at the time, so i'm sure that drove up his price tag 'til Comedy Central just couldn't afford more episodes. I'm sure that's the explanation.
Well, except for RoboCop, apparently.
