I don't disagree with you about Grobachev, he's one of the most under-appreciated historical figures of the 20th C. I guess I'm just surprised that the Right  is so commited to the cult of reagen that they'd like to think the cold war ended in 1986, when they could just as easily give credit to Bush senior.
