I just think it diminishes the disgracefulness of minstrel shows and blackface when you compare it to a show where geeks have jobs, gorgeous female friends and regular sex.

I couldn't help but notice Sheldon checking her out over and over.

Please explain to me how a show where all of the geeky characters have high paying jobs, their own homes and most of them have significant others is in any way comparable to the dehumanizing bullshit prevalent in blackface and minstrel shows.

You gotta be shitting me. This thing is doing well?

I don't understand how a network with one good sitcom consistently fucks up.

I'm sure he had to pay Eddie royalties to use that character.

Nah, he told her his name was Marty.

They'll either write the kids out/into minor roles, or get canned, I figure.

Dude was staring hard.

I saw Amos and Andy when I was very young (my father was a fan) and I
don't remember being offended, although that might be due to my youth. I
remember thinking it was very funny.

This is the same terrible season four that got B's nearly every week on this site?

Heh.

No, because it was funny when it was new.

Apparently it's not a popular opinion, but he is. Martin was one of the funniest sitcoms of the 90's. He's an incredibly funny man.

Actually looking forward to this. Lawrence is somehow one of the most underrated comedic actors working today, despite his immense talent.

lol, Worm was doing work.

Think it's way too soon for Stoneheart. I'm guessing middle of next season or so. Incidentally, I hated Stoneheart in the books, but the prospect of Michelle Fairley silently sending Freys to the gallows is just fine by me. She's an incredible reaction actress. She's going to be great.

Can we talk about how awesome a fighter Grey Worm is? Holy shit that kid can go.

If the worst two episodes are getting B's I don't even think it's worth reading the rest of these.

I feel like quite a lot of this review is two people trying harder than they should to figure out a way to make a subpar show seem funnier than it is.
