Well, there's nine main cast members now (Jeff, Britta, Abed, Troy, Pierce, Shirley, Annie, Chang, and Dean Pelton), plus a couple of high-profile guests this season (Michael Kenneth Williams and John Goodman), but there's only 22 minutes per episode. Yeah, some characters are going to get de-emphasized each week.

Yeah, exactly that. I couldn't understand why everyone was slobbering over it.

Hey @avclub-f0063baac3d62f59a0f27e4e9a29471a:disqus , you're not alone. I liked it more than last week too. And I expressed disappointment with last week's in the comment thread, and didn't get charbroiled for it.

I might be outspoken here, but I felt that the last three episodes of Community - though they had some interesting character development and demonstrated highly compelling storytelling - were pretty light on laughs. This episode had me guffawing more than any episode of Community has since season 1, and that's a good

It's more interesting than Whitney.

I dunno, Todd. Structurally this episode was fine, and all the character beats were right… But I didn't actually think it was particularly funny. Here's the parts that actually made me laugh:

You're a big fan of recent Glee, then, I take it?

"That's the man in whose trailer… off they were jacking?"

I haven't watched this yet, but you've mis-tagged it as the 6th of the season. We're on 707 now.

"They'll never see this one coming," Weiland was heard muttering to himself while steepling his fingers between vocal sessions.Alright, in all seriousness now… I've suspected for a while that Scott Weiland's persona was only as dark as it needed to be to keep paying for itself. Listen to most of the Stone Temple

It's not just the cover. It's the whole album, concept, performance, execution. The cover is actually a pretty accurate representation of what you'll hear on the record.

I know, right? That bugged me back in the pilot.

The biggest problem with this show:

Not really. If you hang out with a tech-savvy or privacy-conscious crowd, it's easy to think that "most people" have their Facebook profiles locked down, but as a matter of fact the average Facebook user never changes their privacy settings away from the default.

You know what was organic? When I nailed Eartha Kitt in an airport bathroom.

Stop it, guys, this is getting way too kerny.

Forty-two, actually, but yeah.

That's a great list, and well-written. The other links you posted present decent starting points (I guess), but aren't nearly as well thought out or as well written as this list. Awesome.

There's quite a bit of drug use in Fringe. Almost all of it centered around John Noble's character Walter. Either he's doing drugs recreationally (shown in a much more honest light than most network TV is normally allowed to, actually), or he's asking his test subjects to take, say, LSD as a catalyst for whatever

Kind of a stretch, but it might have been intentional. Someone who has a Twitter account should ask Harmon and the writers.
