Yeah, I thought I would try to watch it riffless beforehand.

Pffft. If they had any balls at all, they would have made a show about Pride and Prejudice with Zombies instead.

No more gimmicky crime procedurals. The world would be a better place without them, IMHO.

This ep
Has pretty much sold me on the show. I still think Coop's character is too inconsistent. In one scene, he's a condescending prick, but later in Eddie's office, he's a good-natured stuttering schoolboy. Make up your damn mind, show!

"High functioning" Jackie
Well, according to today's NPR, Vicodin addicts start out high-functioning, but after a while they become really obviously sluggish and out of it. Maybe Jackie's angry because, on some level, she knows she'll eventually be like Sam. Just like her motherhood, her addiction won't be a secret

Palin, why you failin'?
I like to imagine that every morning she stares at her feet while whispering, "Okay which one do I stick in my mouth and which one do I shoot?"

Don't forget the "let's make things interesting" fight scene.

This episode brought to us by "The Hangover"
It's good to know that movie will have been good for something.

Ready….set…
Let the fapping about his character on The Wire commence…..now.

Aziz
Is it just me, or is Aziz's character to much of a prick to be funny?

Korean War
I loved Jin's reaction when Hurley said there was no such thing.

Fucking Oregon…
This episode's apparently being preempted by a Blazers game. Oh well, thank god for bittorrent. Um, I mean "Hulu".

The Somali Pirates commonly kill their enemies by sitting them down and filling them with butter and sugar for 43 years.

Actually, a much more effective technique would have been having Mohinder give Nathan a long boring monologue on the nature of betrayal.

Nathan
Let me get this straight: Nathan basically aspired to becoming a modern-day Hitler and his only punishment is he that has to sit in a diner and listen to his little brother throw an impotent hissy fit?

Method Man and Steve Earle from The Wire
Or are we not counting TV?

Indeed. But considering what the station's putting out lately, saying that it's as good as anything on HBO sounds more like a backhanded compliment than anything.

MADD
It's been a while since I saw this show. The only thing I remember is it implied that Mothers Against Drunk Driving openly supports bloody vigilantism against DUI suspects.

No, because Suresh needs to deliver the second-best line: "I have to go now. My home planet needs me."

Yeah. All the annoying stuff notwithstanding, I think an F is way too harsh. I'd reserve that kind of judgement for when they attempt a musical episode, or something equally insulting.
