I honestly think Chase wouldn't want to challenge Jake Montrose. And it's probably a good idea, because I imagine Ralph's response would be, "Are you questioning me?" and he'd shut Chase down through intimidation.

Ralph's idea was to give someone else the chance to bring somebody back.

That might be the only thing Chase really reacts to during the reveal. It doesn't feel that Chase has really connected with anybody, but he genuinely respects Jake and likes him. That only reaction I'm looking forward to.
