i first heard craig finn on the p.o.s. record and i was like, who the fuck is this guy with the nasal voice? then i heard BaGiA and thought the same. Then i heard it again. I was changed forever. Give the Lifter Puller a listen. Fiestas and Fiascos is as good as any Hold Steady album.
Poodlesnort, 2001 might be my favorite, but Fanny and Alexander is a damned close second.
