Yeah, I seriously was just like, "Ohhhh. That explains a few things."

I had a similar thought! lol

Wait, what? Did they?

I do indeed. "Manhood" by itself just seemed a little boring, without any of the adjectives that so frequently precede it.

Bryan Fuller actually posted on his twitter "SO WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE IT MEANS THAT THE PRIEST SAW ABIGAIL, TOO?"

Oh cool! I follow Fuller's twitter when he does the east coast live tweet but I have to go to sleep before he does the west coast one and sometimes he offers new tidbits for the latter.

Haha! Yeah, usually people who are bleeding out from their throat just need a nap to fix things right up. ;)

I can almost hear him say "phallus" if there is just no way around it. But he wouldn't like having to say it. He might also just say "genitals" without getting more specific than that.

I mean one makes me giggle and one makes me want to hide under the covers and never come out again so… Yeah S&P makes vast amounts of sense.

Oh, absolutely.

Imagining Hannibal saying the word "dick" or "dong" out loud is almost amusing enough an image to push the flayed corpse stag out of my mind. …Almost. ;(

I just want confirmation that that photograph is a twenty-year-old headshot of Mads Mikkelson's. Because I sincerely hope it is.

No joke.

Just cover the buttcracks with fake blood! It's fine!

I definitely looked away from the cold open. Though I kept peeking back at it because I somehow kept hoping maybe somehow it would turn out differently. It… did not.

Standards & Practices are so weird. In the iZombie finale apparently it was okay to have a teenager's corpse on a meathook and show his cracked open skull with all his brains scooped out… But it was not okay to imply that a character peed on the floor of a room where he was being held captive. wtf

Yeah, I was trying to remember which murders Hannibal committed in S1. The copycat antler murder (of Cassie Boyle, I think?) for sure, and he murdered the silo muralist and stuck him in his own mural. He killed Tobias and Franklyn in the same episode (though those were murders necessitated by circumstance, not

Did he not visit any of his own crime scenes with Will or Jack back in S1? He may not have; I don't remember… Though I guess even if he did, that's a little different from technically being on the run as a wanted murderer and sticking around.

I was legit clutching a stuffed animal for dear life during that scene. It was so disturbing.

Hannibal is definitely arrogant enough to stick around the scenes of his crimes while the police are there, though.
