It does, because the conceit is that they all speak English with English accents even though they are French.

When Mary and Catherine were stumbling about the woods, it occurred to me that if there was a season of Survivor where all the contestants were CW characters, I would definitely watch that.

I agree that the "omg he's English!" reveal loses something when everyone has an English accent. Catherine's use of a lower-class English accent, though, was an intentional choice on her part to make herself seem part of the servant class instead of the noble class when she was trying to convince the imposter queen

That moment when your husband basically calls you a useless miscarriage factory because he would rather hurt your feelings than risk your safety by letting you know about his secret (-ish) regicide! I knew it was coming when Mary offered up that excuse but I still said "Oh, Francis…" when he said it.

I realized I kind of miss the weird "forces that conspire…" intro bit.

I feel like the shot pretty much made it seem like the corset wasn't even close to laced up all the way in the first place.

When Mary was miscarrying, I literally was like "Nooo but that pink dress is so gorgeous!!!!"

I am not immune to the way that Prince Louis looks at Mary. Like, "You seem like such a strong woman and I respect you so hard but also you are beautiful and married which is very much my Type." I am also not immune to Narcisse making sad eyes at Lola over his dead wife's body.

I've been calling it CastleGreer! But it must keep sailing! For all our sakes!

I was so worried that the baptism scene was going to cut to illicit Greer/Leith smoochies. So I was beyond thrilled when she showed up at Castleroy's country home (or whatever) and seduced him. I especially liked her corset that fell open with a single tug of the laces. So fantastic!

Tumblers! There was tumbling!

Quoi??

False. Reign is amazing. I know at least two people besides me who watch it! Boom!

I am not even a little bit sad about the lack of Tysha. And after all the Tyrion-Jaime scenes this season, I am much happier to see them part as they did on the show than as they did in the books. I don't really even care that much that now Jaime isn't mad about Cersei slutting it up with their cousin while he was

I actually think it might make more sense for the show to hold on to that reveal so that the tv-only audience sees LSH for the first time at the same time as Brienne sees her. I think a move like that potentially has the power to actually increase the shock and horror of seeing what Catelyn has become.

At this point, though, Greer's potential choice of Leith over Castleroy doesn't only affect her. She would no longer have any say in the marriages of her younger sisters or any of the other advantages afforded her by the marriage to Castleroy. If Francis were to ennoble Leith, Greer would still be making a more

I would watch the shit out of that.

I had the impression she was doing that in the books, too, until Cersei decided to accuse her of sleeping with a lute player (and some other folks) and she had to be confined to the Maidenvault or wherever. I feel like I remember Cersei getting frustrated a lot because Tommen was always telling her how nice and great

I THOUGHT SER POUNCE WAS ORANGE! WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!
