I think part of the reason that it was bugging me was that it felt like Caroline and Stefan basically immediately jumped to conclusions about what it meant that Elena and Damon had been at the lake house together that day. Like, god forbid it take Damon a day before he's able to bring himself to do something that is

This whole show has always been about taking away Elena's right to choose. Pretty much the only time she actually got to make a choice about anything (telling Stefan to save Matt), she died. And now Elena can't choose to be with Damon. There's something really depressing about the fact that the only way Elena can be

I'm pretty sure that what they did with Jeremy in this episode is actually the perfect workaround for Elena's being sired to Damon (rather than going on instinct, taking a "detour" that allows one to make one's own choice). I hope they don't just ignore that.

He's 24. (Older than Nina Dobrev, actually.) So yeah. Keep looking at those arms. Cause they are… glorious.

Um, Damon didn't rape Elena. No one thinks that. None of Klaus's hybrids have tried to have sex with him. Damon never ordered Elena to have sex with him.

Hardly. It's been going in Stefan's favor for so long that Damon/Elena fans just get more and more determined that when Damon/Elena happens it has to be legit. Otherwise, as Carrie said, it's just insulting to everyone.

Honestly I felt like Stefan came across as super gross in this episode, and I have never been a Stefan-hater. I liked his decision to murder someone and to also force Jeremy into killing as character development, though not because I thought it was a good idea. But he just came across as super pouty and whiny, super

I definitely thought she was projecting a bit.

Trust me, I don't think any Damon/Elena fans are satisfied by that ending.

I'm pretty sure that's what he said.
