BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY FAVORITE SONGS FROM THAT ALBUM — I LIKE GOOD MUSIC!

Bing!

Oh, yeah — hell of a lot of war profiteering in WW II.
According to this article, the top 3 were:
1) IBM
2) Ford
3) Coca Cola

"Mrs."

He thinks it's when all those old guys and ugly broads get together to play music on their violins and bigger, macho violins.

Yes.

Way to go, Pappy-Dikachu!

Never been prouder of my late father's service in WW II (US Navy 1944-46*).

Not sure that album even has a "hit single" on it.

Yes, the Capitol Theater NJ show!
(I have that on CD, too!)

"I can walk on water! Why can't you? Suck it, brownish bitches!"

Yes!

I've got that show on a bootleg CD, too — it was broadcast on the radio, so it's a pretty good soundboard recording. (My hunch is that Paul smashed his bass because he couldn't get the damn thing in tune — you can even hear him trying to tune up in-between songs!)

Think I have that show on a bootleg CD… I remember because The Prisoner" was rarely in their 1979 set-lists.

Thanks. But I got to see them do that live in 1987.
:-)

They tried to turn a quirky, "Zooropa"-esque album into another "Joshua Tree."
Big mistake.
