Ahem. Marcus Gilmer sang Kathleen Edwards' praises in the "One Man Cult" article…

My wife and I are going to watch The Apartment and The Hudsucker Proxy. Whoo!
*clears throat*
Right. This comments section makes me feel like I'm in some alternate reality AV Club. I cling to Craig's post because it's the only one that makes sense.
@avclub-3456fec7a520e406700a3e9ea78faac6:disqus Trolls on the AV Club? Never!
Even though I'll always be a Lost apologist, I understand a lot of the complaints lodged against the show's final season.
Todd's the man. That Frightened Rabbit song is gold, Jerry! Gold!
These are my people. Also, AV Club writers don't know which Springsteen is good—a few months ago, I had to defend Nebraska against ol' Phil Nugent, who said we have to "put up with acoustic Springsteen," and now we've got McGee arguing in favor of one of the most grating Christmas tunes ever.
This. I always think of The Royal Tenenbaums as a perfect Christmas film, even though the Guaraldi song is its only substantial link. Its themes and (especially) its resolution are reminiscent of all the great Christmas specials and films.
I'm just glad they finally acknowledged that it exists. Why wasn't it on the primer?
I thought Frank Cross never really seemed that heartless. He's so funny in the beginning of the movie I almost can't buy he's a mean person.
They've got to be SO SCARED to miss it!
What sensible friends you have!
I'll say Merry Christmas too, just to represent the quieter souls who are avid A.V. Club readers (of both the articles and comment section) but don't join in the discussion as much. I'm assuming others exist…
Wondering how many of us had the same experience…
So what are the chances of you posting that 8-hour-long Christmas playlist, Noel…?
