yeah, both those scenes were horrible in their own way.
it really brought home to me the voyeuristic aspect of us watching her watching them when i pulled off my own headphones at the same time she did.

well said. jesus has really grown on me. he looks amazing and the physical acting is very good. my only criticism is the flat delivery. he needs to change it up a bit because the monotone drags after a while.

i don't see what the problem is. anyone who's ever served will tell you that military life is way gayer than the harmless, oily, shirtless flirting seen in this film.
it's one massive gay orgy over there in afghanistan, and it's awesome.

perhaps the central character would have been more sympathetic if he's been unarmed and scared, rather than tooled up and dead-eyed.
The film lost me at that point. i wanted that character dead.

it's funny how sick you can get of your own country and its tv shows. i hated the original versions of free agents and shameless but i loved the american remakes.

i stopped listening to this podcast as i couldn't stand the avant garde, yoko ono-ey soundscape "music" he plays between anecdotes. is he still doing this?

i heard that reading lips is pretty difficult and its not universal, you have to know the person for a while to interpret their unique mouth movements and expressions.
