Do I need to see this if I already saw The Innocence of Muslims?

Yeah I was just watching an episode from season 2 and there he is.  Don't know why I never noticed him before.

It's always been a side project.  AFAIK Mac has never toured as Portastatic and the albums haven't ever been hyped or heavily promoted.

I've been called a greasy thug before and it never stops hurting.

wat?

@avclub-17f6363dc22467672c3d77b319333c3f:disqus That was the first thing I thought of.  Unfortunately he doesn't have a catch phrase that the show can shamelessly reference in its adorably meta way.

I would add "Slack Motherfucker", which was the first song of theirs to grab my attention.

Not if it's done in a non-threatening manner.  I have been frustrated before by being mocked or taunted in a racially demeaning manner, however, because I can't exactly respond in kind without sounding like a total asshole.

I just finished growing a beard for the first time in my adult life.  I kind of have a baby face and I thought the beard would make me look older, which is helpful in my profession (I've had numerous clients say they worried when they met me because I looked so young, even though I just turned 36).  Now I look like a

Hell yeah on milanesa.  if you're really fuckin hungry, get it "cuban style", which basically means everything on the damn gets added on top of it.

No joke, I knew a guy who had this number.  Even in the late 90s calls for "Jenny" were a weekly occurrence.

Haven't heard anything they've done in over a decade, but their two singles comps (Tossing Seeds and Incidental Music) are an excellent place to start on their 90s stuff.  As far as actual albums go, Foolish is imo their best, followed by Here's Where the Strings Come In.

FWIW, it's very easy to make corn tortillas at home.  Some masa, lime juice and water is all you need.  Fry it up in a dry cast iron skillet and you've got something much better than you will get at the store.  Takes a little trial and error but you don't have to be a chef to figure it out.

And I just happened to go to this bar where I just happened to meet the woman who would one day become my wife.  I mean, what are the odds?  My life is full of plot holes.

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus My brain tells me that we should agree to disagree, but my heart is telling me that the only solution to this argument is a duel to the death.

What sort of horrible place do you live where corn tortillas are not readily available?  They are generally easier to find than bollilo bread (although the latter can be found at any Mexican market)

Tacos are great and all, but ordering a torta is the mark of a man who knows what he's doing.

Well, felony murder doesn't usually stretch as far as it would need to for Emilio's death to be considered a murder.  He would have to be committing the murder to further the felony or to escape capture by the authorities.  Emilio and Krazy-8 were going to murder him (or at least he had very good reason to believe

@avclub-0f2aab038be93ff407d92af691001e73:disqus That is definitely true.  This being something from the internet, I'm referring to the internet feminist/social justice crew.  I strongly suspect that a large contingent of the people cheering this woman on would not hesitate to attack a guy saying similar things.  No

Eugene Mirman's stand up is really funny.  Hodgman and Schaal's are kind of ok.  They are both better as actors.
