Noted:  second dudebro Hatesong that includes an unsolicited endorsement of "Beautiful"

@avclub-fdf2661964a28f018afca002ff0a512e:disqus I think I learned the term from another AVClub review within the last couple of years.  Might be the same writer, who knows.

Yeah I actually think Something About Mary is a minor classic.  The gross out stuff is what it's remembered for but I think the story is interesting on a couple of levels.  It's a dark story about regret and obsession leading a basically good man to do some pretty awful things.  And it also works as a commentary on

She has a lot of credits, especially considering that her first credit is from 1971 when she was 42.  TBH I only remember her from Throw Momma From the Train and Goonies.  The first one is great and the second, including her performance, is iconic.  Between that and working pretty consistently until her death, I'd say

I used to read Word Up magazine

Stone Cold Jane Austin

I mean, there are two sides to every story, but somehow it's easy to believe that a dickheaded player like Andre Rison was also a dickhead who beat up his girlfriend.

I hated that dude.  I was always on her side, and not just because she was beautiful.

Something something sexual intercourse, am I right?

Well, technically they would both be in elementary school in 1993.  And if they were acting in 1993 they were probably playing 6 year olds.

Not just beautiful women, but three of my top 10 or 15 hollywood crushes in about an hour of tv

There's a fellatio scene very near the beginning.  It sets up the semen in the beer cup scene.

I've discussed this on the AVClub before, but it doesn't seem like there was a break after the 90s the way there was at the end of the 70s or the end of the 80s.  The technological change is pretty huge, and the political shift smaller but noticeable.  But as far as art and culture, it's very difficult to tell the

Just jail actually.  Three months though.  They don't fuck around when you punch a police officer, even if you're famous.

"Shit, we really are Stranded."

Between her, Alison Brie and Rashida Jones, there is just too much hotness on NBC Thursday nights.  Even now that Ellie Kemper isn't on anymore.

The Sweetest Thing is the distaff There's Something About Mary.  Totally different late 90s gross out comedy.

There's really no reason to make a Daria movie, other than the fact that it's the part Plaza was born to play. And you can't fight your destiny.

I ran into him, almost literally, a few weeks ago.  He was getting off an elevator that I was getting on.  He was very polite even though I called him by his first name without knowing him (I was a little drunk).  He is very small

Liked for making me wince early in the morning
