Not going to lie, the video contributes to its hatefulness quite a bit.  Although I would also think that even someone who tolerates that singing style could recognize that others might find it irritating.

This is one of those things about living on the coast that I really can't imagine.  If I went into a coffee shop here in flyover country and they refused to do something simple like ice my coffee for me, I would think I was being pranked or something.

This show doesn't seem entirely fully formed, but I like it and I hope it sticks around long enough to reach its potential.  It's much better than Legit, mainly because Maron has a lot more smarts and charisma than Jim Jeffries, and that is apparently coming back despite low ratings, so hopefully IFC will think this

I've never seen Danny Trejo in anything that wasn't better for having Danny Trejo in it.  I'm not going to say he's a great thespian, but he is a great screen presence, if that makes sense.

Can you turn that into a screenplay and have it on my desk by Monday?

The first movie I can remember that used the "recreate a movie scene and add farts" format was Scary Movie, and I remember thinking that it was infuriatingly half-assed.  But these movies make it look like a classic.

Ha I get it.  Just like the real movie, only people get hit in the face.

Unpaid overtime is pretty much a necessity for any professional job.  Unless, of course, you work for yourself.  Then unpaid overtime is very much a necessity.  But on the other hand I spend a lot of working hours in my underwear, so that's cool.

@avclub-311689549bfffcfef91ea1f8e5b98f15:disqus That's pretty inaccurate.  To start with, there is an entire school of thought called "anarcho-capitalism".  And the vast majority of libertarians aren't in opposition to laws (in fact, most anarchists don't really propose a complete absence of law) or government, they

I'm going to operate a hot dog stand without a permit!

I haven't seen the movie and probably won't (at least until it comes on late at night on cable when I'm high), but I would assume that unless the government also suspended civil liability, then civil remedies would remain available.  It might explain why the killers in the preview seem to be wearing masks.

Is it, though?  The preview says "crime is legal".  It doesn't say that civil laws won't be enforced.

"Finally, this whole system seems geared to create a really violent, really stupid populace, like that of "Idiocracy." Only the ultra-violent or ultra-rich would seem to survive this nightmare, leading to an increasingly violent population."

I can't wait for the purge so I can drive my uninspected vehicle all over the neighborhood.  You should see the emissions levels on this motherfucker MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Her jaw appears to work like a muppet.

Well whatever the case, I'm laughing…

Super Bad!  Just for the free jazz solos where James is shouting "play me some 'Trane, brother!"
