"Still, there’s no joy in watching a completely abhorrent character do awful thing after awful thing. "
I caught his special on Comedy Central and I really wanted to hate this skinny punk 19 year old kid with his Justin Bieber hair. But he has this great talent for wordplay. And this song shows a great deal of self awareness for someone of his age. http://youtu.be/Eo9pU1q8sy8
I'm sure it's been covered, but the Maester is Qyburn, Westeros's resident Dr. Frankenstein.

The song is a goofy lark, so Ringo's "barely even trying" vocal style fits. Cocker treats it like an anthem and it just seems bathetic.
Pickett's "Hey Jude" is where it's at. Also, Ike and Tina's "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window".
