Oh my god the whole time I was reading this I was like, I wonder if anyone else is going to mention the Facts of Life episode. I BARELY remember but I remember it was scary as heck at the time. Someone like fell down the stairs dead or something.

I thought I posted this but Guess I didn't. I know I was a fucking bitch about the F or whatever grade this got, but to give THIS episode which TOTALLY says FUCK IT to the Scott/Stiles friendship for no reason, is really fucking weird. I still love LaToya for reviewing this show I have no FUCKING clue how that ep was…
Does Stiles punch the fuck out of Theo on the preview?
Theo defs made me angry. I guess that's good tv doing?
"— When did the show get so downbeat? Scott's opening monologue/extended
metaphor for coming of age was decently acted. Ditto his and Stiles'
big finish (DOB for the win with "Some of us are human!"). But I'm ready
for them to be adults already."
I like Lost Highway a lot but this ep. (GREAT EP) was way too coherent to be compared to Lost Highway. imo.
This post is amazing, you are great.
U bait clickin' AV Club?
LOL wow rude
I think the kiss thing was dumb as hell, but I think it was about physical contact, and as disgusting as it is, Liam kissing Hayden is physical contact.
LOL come on thats not goofy enough.
Agreed re the pain thing especially since, IMO, the times it was used have been not-dumb kiss related but very interesting. The dog. The girl in the hospital. And then how evil-Stiles used it against Scott. And how Scott tried to use it on Allison. Using it now in a dumb kiss is kinda lame I feel.
This actually does make sense I think, in that Scott WILLED himself to be an alpha, instead of KILLED. And now that his will is slipping so are his powers.
I wanted to love the parent interaction this ep, but yeah. it's just a shell of what it used to be. Sheriff Stalinski acted weirdly out of character and that made Mama McCall mad. She slapped him. Kind interesting but not given it feels false to the characters. Which is a lot to say for this show now.
I thought he was going to turn on LIam and Hayden. Then he didn't. Then he's part of the pack.
No other show has ever show teenagers growing up in non-real time, so you are defs correct in your assessment.
Hmm yeah I guess the worst part is that the Lydia thing is the end. Makes the beginning dumb for how much it didnt pay off.
rip coach
"Teen Wolf doesn’t really use its new mythology to change the
past; it adds mythology like a game of Jenga where it only places blocks
on the top. It doesn’t add that mythology organically, and as I have
mentioned before, it comes across a lot like the writers throwing any
piece of mythology they can find at a story…
Aww Derek was interesting :(
