I want to believe the show is capable of that, I really do.  Four seasons ago, maybe that would be the angle that they're playing, but I'm just not sure Ted is a good person.  In fact, he and Barney were both pining after/competing for Robin at the same time a few seasons ago.

I used to be addicted to this show, but after the first episode of this season, I stopped watching.  I watched again last night, and I am so terribly disappointed.
