My thoughts:
1- If this show makes it to Season 4, then maybe we'll see an Army.  This show doesn't really seem like the "lets think more than two episodes in the future" type (hence, the unbelievable amount of loose ends), but I could see it going that route.

Hank is the Xander, Rosalee is the Willow, and Monroe should be seen as the Oz (who was one of my favorite characters- also, duh, a werewolf type creature).  I too could not be more excited about a new Scooby gang, but hope that the Mrs. Summers character (Juliette), gets killed off more quickly than she did on Buffy.

I felt the same way about the Asian detective sidekick on Dexter.  Somewhere, there is an incredibly funny show about Asian cops, but we ain't seein it.

I've been maced twice, and it's not fun for about two days.  Maybe more of a "my psyche is ruined because someone whom I've come to love just 'fun maced' me destroyed my will to dance," sort of cancellation.
