How cool is James Bond? Even a 3000-year-old vampire fantasizes about being him.

I have a friend whose taste in everything else is excellent - he's the person who got me to start watching Archer - but claims that FD is his favorite comedy. I just can't wrap my head around where he's coming from.

No, don't you understand - they had to tell the same story three times in a row over three weeks! Or else we wouldn't have 'got' it! It completely wasn't them spinning their wheels!

It's weird that Dexter's showrunners have never understood the importance of having a competent character who doesn't like Dexter in the mix. It's hard to call the show deep or morally complex when everyone is either an idiot or on Dexter's side.

I rage-quit Heroes about five episodes into season 2. Hiro's going to turn out to be the hero he was obsessed with? Yawn. Haircut's stuck in the future? Click. We're doing a whole new set of people learning about their powers? That got old in the first season.
A friend of mine actually did quit watching the Simpsons right after Homer was raped by a panda. He hasn't seen an episode since, although he did watch the movie.

My favorite? "Worst. Episode. Ever." is a reference to an online review of "The Itchy And Scratchy Movie".

Isn't Tobias' 'Who wants to take me to the hospital' in reference to him getting run over by Lucille's car, rather than being blown and poked?

Is this the first appearance of Ann's creepy uncle, or was the 'Christian music bonfire' in an earlier episode?
