How can someone call Pee Wee's Big Adventure unoriginal? Or Mars Attacks, which isn't a great movie, but it's at least extremely "original." And have you actually seen Ed Wood? Unlike anything else he's ever done.

So lemme get this straight. It pisses you off that he's rich enough that he gets to hang around with his friend and make what are probably really fun movies to make?

Why are you so offended by the fact that you find this feature uninteresting? Is it SERIOUSLY to the point where you want Amelie fired?

Except he's succeeded remarkably in the past with "gothic crap."

end rant.

You know what's the worst? People who say about three or four sentences of slightly opinionated views, and then say, "end rant."

Fuck, I love Emotional Rescue. All you have to do is take all those albums with grains of salt (of various sizes).

I'd say it's worse than Black and Blue, yet more interesting to listen to.

That movie's terribleness still boggles my fucking mind.

Yeah, that entry seemed really weirdly harsh. It's nowhere near an excellent first season, and it doesn't come anywhere close to what it would rise up to be, but advising to totally skip it seems pretty extreme.

Nooo, Dirty Work is mostly good.

This is the fucking worst. Goddammit.

Really, I think the show's just switched up some of its priorities. I'm cool with having less laffs-a-minute if I get some pitch-perfect and super-fun experimenting. And vice versa.

Something tells me Crusher Reborn is going for neither clever nor funny. And for that, I admire this gimmick poster.

Alright, I can dig that. Although yeah, I don't think it applies here really.

Uh, what? Isn't basic criticism how the critic feels the piece they're critiquing should've been written? I'm confused by this sentiment.

I don't know. Pleased to Meet Me usually has the opposite effect on me, in that everything compared to it sounds like shit.

I once heard a character on Lizzie Mcguire* reference "I Want You to Want Me" as "some classic rock song," and it made my heart hurt.

The quality of that song made up for the fact that I clicked this link thinking Cheap Trick had put out some new stuff.
