It's funny that she was considering quitting acting for a while, considering that when she decided to commit to it she's gotten easily the most mainstream prospects of the Harry Potter kids (Radcliffe's doing pretty well too, pursuing more of an indie/stage path).
I was referring to the graduated characters. Tina and Artie are still regulars, but not ones the show has ever made much use of. Mercedes isn't a main castmember anymore, she's an occasional guest.
@avclub-77cbbfdd8009c0c0d1de2aa4b04a1062:disqus : Michele is allegedly quite a diva and cares very much about being on top
so I don't think it's that laughable that she wouldn't want to share
the 'GF grieving' role with someone else, regardless of how she feels
about that person in general.

My favourite cousin died of a drug overdose. We were all so wrongheaded to memorialize her, I guess.
No, that's not true. That's what Ryan Murphy said, but it directly contradicts Dianna's own statements to New York Post that she was not asked to be in the episode, there was no scheduling conflict.
The "faggy" scene was one of the only times where I thought the writing of the show was heavily slanted against Finn, who would later go on to benefit from most of the show's double-standards.
I think Ryan picked Naya because she's emerged as one of the best
actresses and singers on the show, and maybe with her recent personal
happiness she was in the best place mentally to shoulder the heft of the
episode's scenes.
The new kids, apart from Becca Tobin/Kitty, haven't had anything at all to do this season.
Hour-long quasi-dramas don't typically have a ton of repeat value in future decades, anyway. Only sitcoms are immortal.
"Requiem" was okay, but the best tribute to Leo was in the final minutes of the series finale.
I think they mostly got this right. I was most worried about Santana's story, because the show's handling of her relationship with Finn in season 3 was horrendously offensive; but I think the show handled it okay, and Naya's acting was great.
She wasn't invited back.
Dianna explicitly told the New York Post that she wasn't invited back.
Sam Elliot has such a great voice.
No, they filmed the boxing stuff first, and then took four months off for DeNiro to get fat.
He also gained a ton of weight in the latter half of Raging Bull, but that was just once.
If they're making Johnny black, why is Sue still white?
DeNiro didn't make a habit of it like Bale has. Plus, he's already rather old, and seems to be doing fine.
