Up in the Air was definitely a turkey. Couldn't stand that movie and did not understand the hype at all.

I feel the need to point out that this album was given the same grade as the last Kid Rock album. There. I've done it.

It was pretty damn great.

Oh also slate had a great interview with the venture bros. guys a month or so ago.

David's OK. I think sometimes he's guilty of this stuff but he's not killing the show by himself. Sometimes they repeat jokes for too long that were funny and spontaneous the first time. It had a great silly run but I can't make it through a live episode and many of the studio eps have lost their luster.

The last few episodes of Topics have been pretty funny after a slow start.
Any episode of THAT American Life
Danny Lobell on Todd Barry was good for some strange stories.

As far as Maynard interviews go it was one the best I've ever heard.

I care about neither song featured enough to debate their merits-haven't even listened to either song all the way through a single time, well because they are obviously both a solid meh, yet I felt slightly snubbed because Madrigal made fuss about thrift stores…
