It might be great. It just seemed like they were writing a self-contained story with Plague of Frogs and by the time I got halfway through Hell on Earth I felt like they were dragging things out forever on purpose and I gave up.  Guy Davis' art was so phenomenal though.

It was a good write-up.  What made Hellblazer good was how he used humor and sarcasm to shield himself from situations that were completely sickening and unsettling. It made him someone you could relate to as a human being-he's not a character who needs to be related to as a superhero.

it didn't really need noticing except that it pissed off Alan Moore as far as I could tell. I mean who cares, really?  Moore has done more interesting work since.

I recently read B.P.R.D. A Plague of Frogs and it blew me away. Something about Guy Davis' art and the characters being developed and introduced grabbed me like no adventure comic has in a long while. Kinda diggin the Kevin Pollak chat show lately. The Christopher Guest and Bob Odenkirk eps were great. Also it is nice that professor blastoff is no longer on tour and can get back to low key silliness. 

I really like the first string of albums and kind liked the great destroyer, but not much since. Just cannot get into Drums and guns or C'mon. 

This was great. This  guy is so great. He's got a great sense of humor. Those De La albums he worked on are so much fun to listen to.
