porn. huh. When I was a kid I used to hate advertisements for being so  sexually manipulative that in my youth they seemed somehow "less honest" than porn. This was before the ole internet and all this stuff, back in the days when naked people where only seen in magazines and R rated movies by us youngsters.

holy shit I saw an old episode of this show last night on cable that actually made me laugh.  It's day is long over.

have you had many falling outs with chihuahuas and technology over the years?

okay now that I've read the thing- that dream can't possibly be real. It must be something jack white read in his secret copy screenplay of the never made into film "spinal tap 2".

Hey  could there be some more minimal music reviews in the future that might simply consist of  a " thumbs up" or "thumbs down" plus a sound clip to contrast these long drawn out "music reviews?"

man those pictures aren't giving alot of cred to your "we met bill murray" story.

yeah that was an interesting listen. Anytime Tim and Eric show up it seems like it intimidates folks. I liked the interview but I almost felt like Hardwick and crew are a bit too worshipful of them, and almost react to tim and eric like the 800 pound gorilla in the room.

maybe the thing we need to grow out of is trying to convince others to like the same thing?

whoops I guess his name is Todd.  Todd.   I should have read the article.

I don't think that this debate between Steve and Zack is even real.  It's just a publicity stunt for the new story arc on Community to fill the void left by Tobolowski's class on Who's The Boss ending.  Next season Steve and Zack will co teach class about Community on the show Community creating a giant black hole,

it was good to hear Ice-t this week, yet I long for Thompkins most astounding impression to return to CBB- mr. John C Reily.

my thoughts too. interesting stories about people I have no idea are even real. not a bad ep.

well I go reversal on WTF this week. Gilmartin was a whiny strange guy and coupled with maron's whiny strangeness did not a good combo make. The Mullaly/Offerman episode I found to be lighthearted and interesting, and really down to earth.

what the shit?  NOT written by Steven Hyden?

If you are into his podcast I guess that is what he does, or is headed in that direction. I dig Tompkins as a guest but his podcast never really worked for me.  I guess I am just imagining something like the tomcast or gelmania but where every bit is thought out and has polish and since it is so polished there is no

I dunno. I think there will probly be some breaking point. Somebody is going to take the format and do something that just kills, and put it out less often, and then that's all we'll  be talking about. If and when someone decides to use the podcast to only put out strong material rather than test out material,

the water fountain drinking joke was the best gag on this show in weeks.

by the way thanks to people who alerted me to the existence of the Dana Gould Hour. It's pretty great. Well thought out and the intro cracks me up. I wish the intro was longer.

yeah cbb was great.

Well, I really liked the D Cody interview. I thought she seemed like a pretty nice person and she and Maron had some good talkin. On the other hand, I think YA is a pretty boring film and really does not deserve the hype.  I could not get behind the movie as none of it seemed either real as in I actually cared about
